Contrary to traditional Whole Life Insurance, Term Life Insurance provides a death benefit for a pre-determined period of time. As a service to the members of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA), the Major League Alumni Services has teamed up with Cook & Associates, so you can now receive quotes for term life insurance from over 35 highly rated insurance companies.

By completing one preliminary application thru Cook & Associates, members can submit an inquiry for term life insurance to several of these companies at one time.  The member will be assigned a representative from Cook & Associates to assist the applicant through this process and become a personal advocate between the member and the insurance companies.   In the course of processing a request, underwriters rely heavily on the information that is provided.  In order to receive accurate quotes, the underwriters may also seek information from third parties, such as the medical professionals who have treated the applicant. 

This application method will allow the members to receive quotes with the most competitive rates without having to submit numerous applications.  As a member of the MLB Players Alumni, there is no cost or obligation for this service.
